Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in an administrative capacity, preferably with an architecture, design, or construction firm.
- Bachelor's Degree (Construction management preferred) or equivalent of relevant experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
- Experience with permit submitting, interfacing with government and third-party permitting agencies.
- Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- High level of professionalism and strong sense of urgency.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Aconex, PlanGrid, and MS Project strongly preferred.
- Ability to work with minimal guidance; Proactive, motivated self-starter.
- Proficiency with conferencing systems
- Flexibility and proven ability to handle and manage frequent changes effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Managing the Construction Documentation/Administration Phases tasks include file sharing, print coordination, logging RFIs & submittals, QA/QC documents stamping and coordination.
- Managing the permitting with the relative agencies through all phases of project execution.
- Project Close-Out tasks include dead filing and punch list tracking.
- Managing the construction invoicing and interfacing with accounts receivable to ensure adequate tracking of budget and costs.
- Maintain and assist in driving productive meetings across project teams, providing, and following up with action items daily.
- Lead initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects while mitigating risk and variability.
- Create and develop status reports and summaries for executive management in conjunction with project leads.
- Employ a can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the program goals.
- Develop tools that enable efficient operations maximizing the team’s time spent on solving problems.
Redwood Materials is developing a closed-loop, domestic supply chain for lithium-ion batteries, focusing on engineering sustainability by transforming the battery supply chain and offering large-scale sources of domestic anode and cathode materials produced from an increasing number of recycled batteries. The company's main technologies involve manufacturing critical components using recycled batteries to localize the global supply chain on a single site.
