Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Human Resources Management or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • At least three years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Specialist, with proficiency in at least three HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, employment law, policy interpretation, talent acquisition, HRIS/HCM, payroll administration, compensation and benefits, or leave management.
  • General knowledge of human resources management principles, including hiring, training, orienting, coaching, and evaluating employees.
  • General knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, particularly federal and state leave laws, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and equal employment opportunity requirements.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret information and translate it into recommendations and guidance.
  • General knowledge of employee health and welfare benefit plans and administration.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Problem-solving skills, including listening to, interpreting, and meeting the needs of others and diagnosing and rectifying problems.
  • Organization skills for developing systems to organize and track information and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Customer service skills for interacting and communicating with internal and external customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Support a positive and engaging employee experience across the full employee life cycle by providing guidance to employees and leaders regarding human resources programs.
  • Administer, coordinate, and support assigned human resources programs and initiatives across the company and assigned locations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for leaders addressing employee-related matters and applying policy.
  • Coach and guide leaders in performance management and discipline, or support coaching-related needs based on experience level.
  • Perform or participate in preliminary investigations and conduct concern intake calls, escalating issues and recommendations to the Human Resources Business Partner.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for employee concerns and issues, ensuring proper documentation is established and retained.
  • Assist leaders with corrective actions by drafting and reviewing associated documents.
  • Share employee-relations trends and recommendations with human resources leadership.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned areas or locations, answering questions and triaging human resources needs to the appropriate subject matter expert or resource.
  • Support and assist with employee recognition and engagement efforts across the organization and communicate actively within assigned locations.
  • Drive end-to-end recruitment efforts for assigned locations or geographies using HRIS/HCM and talent acquisition platforms.
  • Provide assistance, education, and support with interviewing, onboarding techniques, and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Partner with hiring managers to align talent needs with strategic goals and represent the employer brand throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Lead the onboarding process from offer acceptance through new-hire integration, coordinating with hiring leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide guidance on onboarding best practices and conduct follow-ups to support retention and improve the new-hire experience.
  • Support total rewards initiatives, including benefits, wellness, and tuition reimbursement programs.
  • Administer and lead assigned total rewards programs and coordinate enrollment meetings and events.
  • Provide reports, analysis, and research to resolve total rewards issues and answer employee questions.
  • Support and promote total rewards programs, make recommendations, and share feedback on employee program offerings with human resources management.
  • Work with appropriate personnel to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
  • Support employees and leaders with payroll, leave, and attendance functions, including education, support, and implementation of changes and updates.
  • Serve as a point of contact for leave-related needs, administer associated programs, and support employees with leave requests.
  • Ensure compliance, communication, case management, documentation, and reporting for leave programs.
  • Serve as an employee-facing workers' compensation liaison from initial intake through case management and resolution.
  • Respond to employment-related requests, including unemployment claims, employment verifications, and other inquiries.
  • Use HRIS/HCM and technical platforms to administer programs and support employees and leaders.
  • Provide system training to users as appropriate.
  • Assist with system integration and problem resolution to ensure accurate data integration across payroll, benefits, performance, and other platforms.
  • Create and maintain accurate and timely information across platforms while ensuring confidentiality and privacy compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records, including timely and precise HRIS/HCM data entry.
Desired Qualifications
  • SHRM-CP or Professional in Human Resources certification.
  • Previous experience working in UKG, ADP, or similar platforms.
