Requirements
  • 4-6 years of accounting experience
  • Preferably at least one year of direct experience working in the digital asset space with a crypto-native firm, consulting organization, asset manager, or bank
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and a CPA designation
  • Familiarity with digital asset accounting guidance and experience with technical accounting
  • An understanding of the digital asset marketplace, opportunities, technologies, change, and innovation it provides
  • Knowledge of digital asset accounting systems, administrators, and service providers
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting processes and controls
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Commitment to highest ethical standards
Responsibilities
  • Determine the appropriate accounting for various types of digital asset related transactions
  • Collaborate with groups across the Firm on the implementation of new digital asset platforms and strategies
  • Maintain books and records for the Firm's digital asset legal entities, working with administrators where applicable
  • Implement processes and controls to ensure accurate reporting for the Firm's digital asset activities
  • Proactively monitor trends and developments in the digital asset accounting and regulatory space and communicate updates to team, assessing and addressing impacts where applicable
