Requirements
  • Licensed Insurance Advisor - AMF, LLQP or equivalent certificate in force
  • 2+ years of experience working in sales, account management or a customer service role at a fast-paced brokerage or insurance carrier
  • Fully bilingual in both English and French
  • Experience working in B2B sales and a track record of sales quota attainment
  • Knowledgeable on group benefits best practices and requirements from working for an insurance carrier or brokerage
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communicator and influencer
  • Resourceful attitude and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Tech-savvy with high mathematical aptitude and comfortable with financial analysis in Excel
  • Strong work ethic and desire for continuous improvement
  • Self-driven and goal-oriented, both independently and in a team
  • Strong presenter with the ability to analyze and explain data clearly to clients
Responsibilities
  • Managing the entire sales process from initial contact to close
  • Managing leads from various sources and generating new business opportunities
  • Building rapport with new benefits clients and maintaining relationships with carrier partners
  • Negotiating renewals with carrier partners and successfully renewing group plans each month
  • Marketing existing group plans to find a new provider that better suits client needs
  • Handling post-quote presentation action items and confirming sales details with selected carrier
  • Conducting plan benchmarking analysis for prospects and clients
