Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, Social Work, Human Services, Family Studies, or related field (as approved) or 2 years equivalent related work experience.
Responsibilities
  • Receive and process documentation submitted by families and child care providers, in a timely manner and according to program regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings, both scheduled and walk-in, with families and child care providers in order to receive and process documentation and/or discuss changes in the family’s case.
  • Review family cases and request appropriate documentation to maintain family eligibility and program compliance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred; ability to converse, write and/or translate in English and Armenian to convey program information in the native language of the family.

The Child Care Resource Center connects families to affordable, quality child care and a wide range of family and community resources. It trains and supports child care providers through professional development, coaching, and technical assistance to strengthen the local child care system and economy. Programs include a community family resource directory, research and evaluation, and advocacy through government relations to share laws, budgets, and events. Funded by grants, private gifts, and government funds, it keeps overhead around 8% so 92% of funding supports services for children, families, and providers, with a focus on efficient use of resources and close community engagement to improve well-being.
