  • Cloud-based (AWS/GCP) architecture and technologies at scale
  • Container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes)
  • Troubleshooting complex systems using tools such as DataDog, SumoLogic, Stackdriver or similar
  • Authentication / authorization protocols and frameworks such as OAuth, OIDC, SSO, JWT, SAML, Session Management a bonus
  • Translate broad business goals into practical technical solutions with realistic milestones
  • Organize and guide balanced decisions across your peers for architecture, design, and implementation details
  • Gather support on your technical strategy through collaborative discussions with adjacent teams and other partners
  • Create strategies for delivering new capabilities while paying down technical debt and investing in engineering excellence
  • Advise engineering management and product management on assessing technical complexity and resourcing needs
  • Support engineers in your team in developing architecture, design, development, testing, delivery and operations systems and solutions
  • Mentor engineers to level up the group's abilities
