WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead all planning processes including monthly forecasting, annual budget and long-term planning from an FP&A standpoint bringing together all relevant stakeholders across Finance and the business to deliver
• Evolve the financial planning process to determine the profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow planning requirements for the business, ensuring the right tools are developed to deliver
• Take a key role in the medium/long term Group planning strategy to give clear direction to Business Units and functions to achieve our Group goals and Strategy, linking the Strategic plan with our financial objectives
• Develop and deliver the story for the Group given multiple inputs across all business unit  that are easily digestible by Exec and Board members
• Work alongside the External Reporting and Investor Relations teams on delivery of analysis for external quarterly reporting purposes, including the drafting of the management discussion and analysis (MD&A) of the earnings release, production of CFO binder and audit analysis
• Own consistent reporting and analysis of Group SG&A and Headcount
• Lead reporting change projects as the business continues to evolve
• Provide strong leadership to the FP&A team, supporting and developing the team to deliver the teams goals
• Partner with the wider Finance team to deliver the goals of the Farfetch finance organisation

WHO YOU ARE

• A qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with considerable PQE
• Experience managing high performing teams
• Experience in pulling together consolidated performance across a multi-pronged business into a cohesive strategy
• You are an expert in excel (vlookups, Pivots) with AX and SAP knowledge advantageous
• Experience in listed retail, technology or e-Commerce businesses advantageous
• You have strong commercial awareness and business acumen
• You can operate in ambiguous and changing situations to deliver on the right results
• You can self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment with competing deadlines
• You are proactive, enthusiastic, ambitious and passionate with attention to detail
