SUMMARY:
As a Junior Wealth Relationship Manager at HUB International, you will be a key part of our wealth management team, providing support to senior wealth managers in managing and growing relationships with high-net-worth clients. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to learn and develop the skills needed to provide personalized financial advice, investment management solutions, and client services. You will gain exposure to a variety of financial products and wealth management strategies while receiving mentorship from experienced professionals in the field.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Client Relationship Support: Assist in maintaining and nurturing relationships with high-net-worth clients by providing exceptional service and ensuring client needs are promptly addressed. Help manage communication with clients and participate in client meetings as needed.
- Portfolio Management Support: Assist senior wealth managers in monitoring and reviewing client portfolios. Ensure investments are aligned with clients’ financial goals and risk tolerance. Prepare reports and presentations to track portfolio performance and suggest adjustments when necessary.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct research and analysis on market trends, investment opportunities, and client portfolios. Prepare detailed reports and performance summaries for client meetings and discussions.
- Administrative Assistance: Support the team with administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, preparing client presentations, documenting client communications, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
- Client Communication & Follow-Up: Participate in client meetings, taking notes, following up on action items, and ensuring that clients’ needs are addressed. Build a strong understanding of each client’s objectives, preferences, and long-term financial goals.
- Learning & Development: Continuously expand your knowledge of wealth management, financial planning, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance through training, mentorship, and hands-on experience.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all client interactions, documentation, and investment activities comply with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with senior wealth managers, analysts, and other team members to deliver comprehensive financial solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
EDUCATION, LICENSING OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Licenses: Within 6 months of hire date, will need to complete and pass the SIE and Series 65 exams. Other licenses such as a Series 7, Series 63, and the Life, Accident & Health (LA&H) License should plan to be pursued post-hire date
- Experience: Previous experience in a client-facing role, finance, or wealth management (internships or previous work experience is a plus).
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct research and interpret financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions
