What You’ll Do
- Product Management is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle, from inception to retirement, of IT products that are delivered to our customers; business associates, and consumers.
- The job family manages the relationship between WS business functions and IT to provide IT product and user experience solutions to meet the needs of the business.
- Frequently interacts with customers, and/or functional peer group ICs/managers, normally involving matters between the department and other functional areas or internal customers
- Regularly participates in a cooperative effort among members of a project team
- May receive some instruction on day-to-day work, but receives general instructions on new assignments and areas of higher complexity
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, business communication, and writing skills
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Networks with senior internal and external personnel in their own area of expertise
What You Know
- Should have a minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- This is for a senior product manager with experience in Retail Supply Chain management, Merchandising Systems and specifically with Master Data Management, Product Management.
- Someone having experience with legacy systems like RMS and modern systems like Stibo
- Product Management experience in Retail Supply Chain management and specifically, Merchandising Systems.
- Strong experience in both legacy merchandising systems and PO Management, like RMS and Tibco MDM, as well as modern Master Data Management, like Stibo STEP.
- Experience in projects of diverse scope and complexity
- Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide product and user experience solutions to meet the business needs
- Proficiency in Developing high-level business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for the IT organization and managing changes to such specifications
- Prepares requirements, specifications, business process and recommendations
- Excellent in uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures
- Resolves a wide range of issues in innovative and practical ways
- Strong knowledge of product management best practices, functional design and application delivery methodology
- Understands basic project management methodology
- Customer focused with high quality standards
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Transportation or Business Administration
