We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global Compensation and Benefits Analyst to oversee compensation and benefits activities for a cluster of EMEA countries. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our compensation and benefits programs, while also supporting HR shared services and GBS teams.
Key Responsibilities - Compensation and Benefits Administration:
- Manage day-to-day administration of compensation and benefits programs for the EMEA region.
- Act as a local compensation and benefits expert to review, enhance and deliver best practices with emphasis on driving process efficiencies.
Compensation
- Lead creation, alignment and delivery of programs, policies along with procedures to structure new hire offers, promotions at a local and cluster level
- Lead structured review in job analyses, competitive benchmarking and salary adjustments according to global governance as well as collective bargaining agreement adhoc adjustments
Benefits
- Ensure all insurance plans and benefits programs are effectively communicated and administered.
- Collaborate with insurance vendors to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
- Oversee the payment process to ensure all vendors are paid accurately and timely.
Compensation & Benefits
Lead responsibilities
- Responsible for driving Total Rewards programs (Compensation and Benefits), practices and policies at a country/cluster level in alignment with Global and Regional TR Strategy
- Responsible for ensuring Total Rewards process operational excellence at a country/cluster level, including tracking timelines of transactions, data accuracy
- Responsible for understanding local country/cluster labour law regulations relevant for Total Rewards and providing feedback on the same to relevant stakeholders within the larger FME Total Rewards community
Day to day responsibilities
- Providing Compensation & Benefits support and execution within assigned country/cluster while ensuring alignment with Global Total Rewards and adherence to local requirements, based on size and complexity
- Manage the continuous improvement of the Compensation and Benefits process, workflow and systems through frequent analyses or audits
- Engage with business leaders and employees to understand and address their compensation and benefits needs.
Guidance responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to HR shared services and GBS teams on complex compensation and benefits issues.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of current compensation and benefits programs.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex compensation and benefits issues that cannot be resolved by Tier 1 and Tier 2 support.
- Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with local regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and present reports on compensation and benefits activities, issues, and trends to senior management.
- Participate in audits and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Compensation
- Point of contact for broad-based population within country/cluster to provide guidance on rewards programs such as Merit, Global Bonus Plan, Local Bonus/Incentive Plans and other Allowances
- Develop and maintain execution of market competitiveness benchmarking for broad-based population with a focus in medical sector
- Make recommendations for local/statutory regulatory requirements during the year
- Point of contact for ticket escalations related to Total Rewards country/cluster approvals
Benefits
- Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance vendors and other benefits providers.
- Address and resolve any issues with vendors to ensure high-quality service.
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Assist with communication and education regarding benefits programs and policies.
- Program Evaluation and Improvement:
- Make recommendations for improvements or changes to ensure programs meet the needs of the business and employees.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of EMEA compensation and benefits practices, regulations, and trends.
- Proven experience in vendor management and negotiation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
- Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCP, CEBS) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with a focus on the EMEA region.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
