  • Bachelor's degree in engineering field
  • 5+ years' experience as a manufacturing engineer on complex electro-mechanical systems
  • 5+ years’ experience leading an engineering team
  • Experience taking products from R&D into production
  • Project management experience
  • Proficiency in work instruction writing, material planning, process mapping, and capacity modeling
  • High self-motivation and drive to execute quickly with excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of manufacturing engineers
  • Organize project milestones and schedule
  • Communicate project status, risks, and resource requirements
  • Develop and qualify manufacturing techniques and processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing discrepancies
  • Work with external vendors and suppliers
  • Establish and execute plans for future factory expansion
  • Implement DFM and PFMEA methodology
  • Influence make vs. buy decisions
