  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5 - 8 years experience in IT, including experience at the Manager or Director level
  • Experience administering company-wide software solutions including G-suite, Clickup, Front, Zoho/LastPass, Slack, and Docusign
  • Experience with ISO 27001 compliance or similar preferred
  • Manage the IT team, including hiring, training, developing, supervising, and evaluating staff
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the IT department
  • Develop, implement, document, improve, and audit policies and procedures related to IT department operations and company-wide IT security, data privacy, and data loss prevention
  • Monitor performance and security of IT systems, and makes recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to analyze business requirements and develop solutions for IT needs
  • Monitor IT spending and ensures cost-effectiveness of IT solutions
  • Lead large IT projects, including the design, deployment, and integration of new IT systems and services
  • Assess vendors for new hardware, software, and tech support services and manages technology vendor relationships. This includes contract negotiation
  • Oversee and administers company-wide software solutions
  • Ensure tech equipment at HQ and AoPS Academy locations, as well as remote employee workstations, are functioning properly and supporting business needs. This includes AoPS Academy classroom technology
  • Provide technical support for Tier 3 issues
  • Develop, maintain, and improve employee-facing IT documentation
  • Assure all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations
  • Remain up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices
  • Complete other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience building out the IT function at a mid-sized company preferred
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
  • Experience overseeing IT at multiple business locations, ideally including locations that are not in the same metro area as headquarters
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Dependable and results-driven with solid time-management and organizational skills
