Signos provides a wearable device paired with an app to help people manage their metabolism and health. The wearable continuously tracks blood sugar and shows trends, while the app uses that data to offer personalized guidance based on how a user responds to food. The product works by collecting real-time glucose data, analyzing it with AI and a large pool of data, and delivering features like meal- and fasting-related tips, predicted glucose responses for meals, exercise suggestions, and alerts when glucose spikes occur. Signos differentiates itself through metabolism-based, personalized recommendations tied to continuous glucose monitoring, plus in-app nutritionist support and predictive meal insights, all delivered through a subscription. Its goal is to help users lose weight, manage blood sugar, and improve overall health by making informed dietary and lifestyle choices.

What believers are saying

  • 2026 funding from GV, Dexcom, and Blue Cross Blue Shield signals validation.
  • Weight-loss demand rose with GLP-1 adoption, and Signos targets adjacent users.
  • Dexcom site placement should lower acquisition costs and expand consumer reach quickly.

What critics are saying

  • Insurance still does not cover Signos; customers pay $129-$139 monthly subscriptions.
  • The 2025 clearance remains device-led; published trial data are still limited.
  • Dexcom can commoditize Signos by bundling similar weight-management software into Stelo.

What makes Signos unique

  • 2025 FDA cleared Signos' OTC glucose-monitoring system for weight management.
  • Signos pairs Dexcom Stelo sensors with AI coaching on meals, movement, sleep, stress.
  • 2026 Dexcom distribution on Stelo.com gives Signos a built-in channel.
