Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years' increasingly complex experience in financial planning and analysis, particularly in a corporate FP&A role.
  • Experience in manufacturing.
  • Ability to develop frameworks and solutions to high-level questions and concepts.
  • Naturally proactive, intellectually curious, and a creative thinker; strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel with experience in building financial models.
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally, influence, and communicate with all levels of management.
  • Ability to work in an environment where priorities can change quickly; strong ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; highly organized.
  • Experience with financial forecasting software is a plus.
  • Comfortable rolling-up sleeves and work with team members hands-on.

Responsibilities
  • Inform improvement by analyzing financial and operational processes and performance.
  • Drive the continued development of budgeting, operating plan, financial forecasting, and modeling tools.
  • Financial reporting including creating management dashboards and reporting.
  • Develop new approaches for improving operations, growth, scalability, and profitability.
  • Define and track key performance indicators.
  • Assist on ad hoc projects and provide accurate and timely financial in-depth analysis.
  • Prepare presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.

Redwood Materials is developing a closed-loop, domestic supply chain for lithium-ion batteries, focusing on engineering sustainability by transforming the battery supply chain and offering large-scale sources of domestic anode and cathode materials produced from an increasing number of recycled batteries.
