Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to DMAX Brookville, Ohio on a full-time basis.

The Role: Support engineering in the Implementation of the Quality Requirements. Monitor consistency to Global Metric Definitions and Performance. Maintain documentation of Launch Manufacturing Quality Readiness Reviews. Actively participate in Plant Quality Manager Meetings & Launch Quality Manager Meetings. Manage projects as requested from Quality Shop Director. Proficiency and knowledge of the elements of the GM Quality System / GMS BIQ and of the Quality Launch Plan. Proficiency and knowledge of the requirements in the Global Quality Manual.
What You’ll Do :
Coach, teach and audit elements of GM Quality Manual and GMS BIQ Principle and Elements. Managerial Courage to provide direct, honest, constructive feedback to Plant Staffs / Executive Leadership in a subtle and professional manner. Present the Assembly Plant and Engineering Staff with clear problem definition, technical mentorship on complex problems, and regular updates on progress.
Support Launch of new product. Maintain updates to Quality Requirements.
Maintain Quality Requirement deviations from plants. Maintain Cost of Quality reports by Plant.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of Quality, Engineering Experience, or strong multifunctional manufacturing experience
- Familiar with Blueprints, GD&T (Tolerancing & Symbology), CMM Reports.
- Basic Machining Concepts & Principles (Fixturing, Drilling/Milling)
- Knowledge with SPC strategies and data analysis

- Thorough understanding and capacity to effectively operate in all areas of the plant production process.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead diverse/cross-functional teams as well as mentor, motivate and elicit work output from peers and other team members.
- Keeps abreast of current product developments and trends in areas of expertise
- Actively looks for opportunities to drive change and continuous improvement with current practices & processes.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering
- Proficient use of GSIP, ECM, Excel, PRTS, SPPS, GQTS, Teamcenter, & MPDs and Microsoft Office Programs.
- Q-Das/Minitab experience
- Assist with capability/ repeatability (GR&Rs) studies and activities
- Understanding of measurement and gaging techniques as well as GM Measurement Standards (GM- MSS)
- Red X Technical Problem Solving Experience
- Exercises independent judgment in managing complex and ambiguous tasks with minimal input from Manager.
- Demonstrated ability to attain results, while balancing technical solutions with business imperatives.
- Must excel at problem solving – root cause, containment, robust long-term solutions.
- Effective communicator with solid oral and written presentation skills
