Senior Quality Engineer

Beehive Industries is dedicated to Powering American Defense by revolutionizing the design, development, and delivery of jet propulsion systems to support the warfighter. Through the integration of additive manufacturing, the company aims to meet the growing and urgent needs for unmanned aerial defense by dramatically improving a jet engine’s speed to market, fuel efficiency, and cost. 
 
Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Englewood, Colorado facility.

Overview:   

The Senior Quality Engineer role will monitor and improve the quality of Beehive Industries operational processes and outputs. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a world-class AM team in a company that offers stability and growth.    

 Responsibilities include the following:   

·       Developing and implementing quality standards  Developing and implementing quality control systems 

·       Monitoring and analyzing quality performance  Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met using statistical analysis, process capability/ 

·       Collaborating with operations managers and engineers to develop and implement controls and improvements   

·       Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues   

·       Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements  Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes     

Required Qualifications:   

·       A Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Mechanical, industrial or other relevant engineering degree   

·       5+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role   

·       Experience creating Quality control plans, performing measurement system analysis and using data to drive process and continuous improvement 

·       Experience with using QA software tools and processes   

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills   

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills   

·       Excellent project management skills

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $93,000-$135,000 base salary.  Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
