This isn’t your usual content-farm ebook and blog job. Our customer is hungry for a thoughtful perspective and actionable insights to apply the growth of their eCommerce business. We need your help to deliver quality content that is both educational and highly engaging.
We’re a deeply thoughtful company and we’ll expect you to research thoroughly and write sharply. We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, passionate about storytelling, meticulous about quality and has an elevated aesthetic.
The eCommerce advertising content space is noisy. You’ll be successful in this role if you can rise above and connect the dots between macro themes and Perpetua’s value proposition. Our website traffic will increase and advertisers will want to reference and share your content.
What You Will Do:
- Write. Write. Write ✍️
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, news and ideas
- Establish a consistent publishing cadence
- Fully understand Perpetua’s brand identity and help to create a distinct brand voice
- Create clear and persuasive original copy for blog posts, long-form articles, emails and case studies that drive traffic and engagement on all channels
- Work with internal teams to assist with the delivery of multimedia content including high-quality video scripts and podcasts
- Work with the marketing team to identify points in the customer lifecycle where we can use content to help deepen their understanding and engagement
Who You Are:
- You are currently enrolled at an accredited university or college studying Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a closely related field
- You’re a passionate storyteller: you can translate complex or abstract ideas into clear and engaging communications
- You are obsessed with creating everyday
- You seek a platform and are courageous enough to use it
- You know great content when you see it
- You are quick on your feet and face challenges with an open and curious mind
- You have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, start-up environment and can act quickly on requests
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Available to work full-time for 4 consecutive months
Bonus Points If:
- You have experience writing about subjects related to eCommerce, Retail, Amazon Advertising and are familiar with complex and nuanced digital marketing concepts

The Interview Process:
Every role starts the same, an introductory call with someone from Perpetua. We will be looking for company and values-fit as well as your professional experience; there may be some technical role-specific questions during this call.
Every role is different after the initial call, but you can expect to meet several people from the team 1:1 and there might be further skill assessments in the form of a Take Home Assignment/Case Study Presentation or Pair Programming/Live Coding exercise depending on the role. In your initial call, we will walk you through exactly what to expect the process to be.
