  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in field services in the A/E/C industry.
  • Strong understanding of earthwork/grading operations.
  • Previous experience in the field as an ICC Certified Inspector with current certifications.
  • Leadership skills and a track record of managing successful teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • A commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
  • Manage project teams, budgets, schedules, delegate project tasks.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, objectives, and potential risks.
  • Lead, mentor, train and inspire junior field technicians and inspectors.
  • Manage all aspects of field services, including ensuring technicians/inspectors understand project requirements.
  • Consult with construction personnel on field conditions, sequencing, and scheduling of activities.
  • Solve project-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Provide direction and supervision for junior level staff.
  • Oversee safety protocols and regulatory compliance in the field.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver on-time and on-budget solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in field operations.
