Grants Research Assistant (Remote, U.S.)
Euna Grants provides web-based grants research and management solutions to local governments (software as a service). We are seeking a highly motivated Grants Research Assistant to join our dedicated research team!
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Grants Research Assistant will be responsible for obtaining, processing, and verifying information regarding awarded grants utilizing procedures outlined by federal and state legislation, as well as proprietary guidelines. Primary responsibilities also include corresponding with grant program officers to obtain valuable grant information for Euna Grants clients, in coordination with research analysts. Qualified candidates will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as initiative and the ability to multitask. The Grants Research Assistant position contributes significantly to the success of our mission to significantly streamline the grants research process and empower our customers to drive impactful change in their communities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Navigate various federal and state open records processes to obtain relevant information;
- Track progress of information requests and generate follow-up correspondence as necessary;
- Summarize, format, upload, and file information obtained;
- Contact program officers via email and/or telephone to verify grant solicitation, obtain missing or resolve conflicting information, and obtain any additional relevant information available; and
- Various administrative projects.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS & CHARACTERISTICS:
- Excellent communication, grammar, and writing skills;
- Professional and pleasant phone manner;
- Proficiency utilizing the Internet/Microsoft Office Suite;
- Proficiency utilizing the Internet as a research tool;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong time-management, organizational, and follow-through skills;
- Detail-oriented and consistently striving for accuracy;
- Strong desire to give back and better the communities to which you belong;
- Willingness to do any job, great or small, regardless of your job description; and
- Driven to continually improve yourself and the environment in which you work.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in customer/client relations and/or outreach via telephone
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
