Requirements
  • Experience with geotechnical and direct push Geoprobe explorations and well installations using hollow stem auger and mud rotary methods.
  • Experience operating and maintaining drill rig equipment.
  • Experience documenting geotechnical borings with daily logs.
  • Ability to operate within state and local regulations.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • A satisfactory driving record is required.
  • Five years of geotechnical drilling experience is required.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk on uneven terrain and in undeveloped wooded areas.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and perform extended standing and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to perform the physical tasks required, including handling, reaching, climbing or balancing, crouching, stooping, crawling, kneeling, sitting, and seeing across varied visual distances.
Responsibilities
  • Perform geotechnical and direct push Geoprobe explorations and well installations using hollow stem auger and mud rotary methods.
  • Perform day-to-day operation and maintenance of drill rig equipment.
  • Document geotechnical borings with daily logs.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
  • Operate within state and local regulations.
Desired Qualifications
  • OSHA training and the ability to maintain rigs are preferred but not required.
