About the role:

We’re looking for candidates who possess excellent technical writing skills, a knack for identifying the key objectives of a document for knowledge checks or other assessments, and a sharp eye for detail. This position will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documents related to the autonomy stack and services at Gatik.

This role is onsite 4 days a week at our Mountain View, CA office!

What you’ll do:

Gather information and field documentation requests from subject matter experts (such as engineers, product managers, and technicians)
Create and maintain developer-facing and operational documentation across the organization
Manage tasks and information flow using collaboration software (such as JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, Lucidchart, and custom databases)
Expert Confluence user (create templates and build simple homepages)
Ensure content is accurate (for example, validate information accuracy, peer review others’ content, and follow review processes)
Analyze information gaps, develop a plan to address those gaps, then implement it

What we’re looking for:

5+ years of relevant experience documenting software development
