Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all operations at our Distribution Center to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule
  • Assessing current employees, hiring and training new employees
  • Identifying inefficiencies and maintaining all workflow protocols and structure
  • Overall accountability for finished product, capacity planning, distribution center and warehouse inventory, and 3PL relations
  • Work closely with business operations and sales (to fulfill orders) to purchasing (receipt of goods) and inventory management
  • Reconfirming a culture of constant improvement
  • Assess current processes and procedures with the goal of improving efficiencies
  • Audit and report inventory
  • Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring adherence to workflows and procedures
  • Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
  • Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
  • Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
  • Monitoring the quality, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods
  • Identify areas for cost reductions and implement strategies for cost reduction and containment
  • Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements
  • Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs
  • Analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions
  • Drive strategic reviews and analysis with 3PL’s to understand capacity & financial opportunities and risks
  • Ensure the 3PL is managing their Daily Operations in alignment with Sourceability priorities and needs
  • Project management
  • Other duties as assigned by senior management
