Responsibilities
  • Track and handle materials, parts, products, and stock items.
  • Support the daily operation of outgoing shipments and customer service.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Oversee operations to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Manage and motivate load-building associates and commercial drivers.
  • Manage daily operations of an active lumber yard, including scheduling inbound and outbound shipments, resolving customer service issues, communicating expectations to associates, and partnering with the yard manager.
  • Keep management aware of delays or discrepancies with suppliers or shippers.
  • Track and monitor inventory status and supply usage.
  • Schedule yard transfers as needed.
  • Review vendor invoices for potential discrepancies.
