Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • The sauna market is growing, with projected global expansion through 2033.
  • Specialized brands like Harvia and KLAFS validate premium technical positioning.
  • Domain-first planning can improve discoverability and reduce launch friction.

What critics are saying

  • Generic naming makes trademark protection and search ownership nearly impossible.
  • Established brands will outperform a weak product story on trust and conversion.
  • Name collisions can trigger costly rebranding after launch.

What makes Sauna unique

  • Lean into sensory naming that signals heat, calm, and rejuvenation.
  • Use infrared positioning to emphasize quiet, low-friction wellness experiences.
  • Narrow launch focus to one use case: residential, infrared, or outdoor.
