Requirements
  • 5-8+ years of experience building and shipping software or artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions, including production deployment.
  • Hands-on experience building with generative artificial intelligence, including large language models, artificial intelligence agents, copilots, retrieval-augmented generation, or workflow automation platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python or another relevant language, experience with common artificial intelligence and machine learning frameworks, and experience with at least one major cloud platform such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience integrating artificial intelligence solutions with existing enterprise systems, data platforms, or industrial operational technology environments.
  • Comfort working directly with client technical teams, including engineers, data teams, and information technology and operational technology staff.
  • Ability to explain technical work and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout employment.
  • Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of a Sia office or approved coworking location.
Responsibilities
  • Design, prototype, and build artificial intelligence agents, copilots, and automation workflows directly inside client systems.
  • Write production-quality code to move solutions from pilot to scaled deployment.
  • Integrate artificial intelligence tooling with clients' existing data platforms, applications, and relevant operational technology environments.
  • Own technical delivery of assigned workstreams end to end, including testing, iteration, and hand-off to client teams.
  • Partner with Artificial Intelligence Transformation Managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and delivery plans.
  • Work directly with client engineering, data, and information technology and operational technology teams to understand system constraints and integration paths.
  • Translate technical trade-offs and constraints into plain language for business stakeholders.
  • Evaluate emerging artificial intelligence platforms, frameworks, and tools for practical fit within client environments.
  • Build monitoring, evaluation, and guardrails so solutions perform reliably in production.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during pilot and scale phases.
  • Build reusable technical accelerators, code libraries, and reference architectures for the ETI practice.
  • Mentor junior technical talent and contribute to technical hiring and practice development.
  • Share learnings across engagements to shorten build time on future projects.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience serving clients in Energy and Utilities, Transportation and Logistics, Manufacturing, or Industrial Products, especially where operational technology and information technology integration was part of the work.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence platforms and frameworks such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Amazon Web Services Bedrock, or Azure AI.
  • Experience in a consulting or client-facing technical delivery role.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and MLOps practices such as continuous integration and continuous delivery, monitoring, or model evaluation.

Sia acquires Kaiser Associates to launch global corporate strategy and M&A business line

Sia, a global management consulting group, has acquired Kaiser Associates, a US-based strategy consulting firm, to launch a dedicated Corporate Strategy, Private Equity and M&A business line spanning the US, UK, France, Middle East and Australia. Founded in 1981, Kaiser Associates brings 65 consultants and operates from Washington, D.C., New York and London. The firm specialises in go-to-market strategy, growth assessments and market landscaping for Fortune 500 executives and private equity funds. Kaiser Associates' leadership team, including Ali Cumber, Paul Mumma and Jon Meyerholz, will join Sia as partners, with Meyerholz heading the new business line as managing partner. The acquisition expands Sia's North American presence and strengthens its position in private equity advisory.
