Requirements
  • Ability to read/write/understand product documentation and specification drawings written in English
  • Ability to use small measuring devices and gauges
  • Basic computer entry/retrieval skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Majority of the day is spent in a "controlled" environment
  • Ability to occasionally lift approximately 5 - 50 lbs
  • Limited exposure to hazardous chemicals used in the manufacture of the product
Responsibilities
  • Work with others – looking for ways to help them, positively communicate Cook standards for quality and integrity
  • Train employees to make product, and make product in your department(s) at least 80% of the time
  • Learn and get qualified to make product on all operator qualified process in the department
  • Meet with the department Supervisor on a daily basis to determine department priorities and relay information to department personnel
  • Assist Supervisor in overall operations and functions of department
  • Assist and oversee controlled manufacturing procedures, the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality System Procedures (QSPs) appropriate to your area are being followed by employees
  • Assume Supervisor responsibilities in their absence
  • Perform other duties and special projects as necessary
  • Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
