Job Description:
The Senior Vice President of Hospice Sales will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategies to achieve the company’s sales goals. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this position requires a seasoned leader capable of managing sales operations, developing high-performing teams, and fostering a culture of success. The successful candidate will also oversee the Intake Department, ensuring efficient management and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Team Leadership:
1. Recruit, train, and manage Sales Manager staff.
- Define and coordinate sales training programs.
- Establish and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive plans.
- Strategic Planning:
2. Contribute regional sales insights to strategic plans.
- Achieve net contribution growth goals and sales quotas.
- Assist in establishing volume projections and resource allocations.
- Marketing and Market Assessment:
3. Conduct market assessments and develop comprehensive marketing plans.
- Employ marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections.
- Identify new customer opportunities and establish sales objectives.
- Financial Management:
4. Forecast requirements and prepare an annual budget.
- Monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
5. Leadership and Communication:
- Provide leadership in strategic planning and business growth meetings.
- Communicate effectively with the management team and participate in high-level discussions.
- Display excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Networking and Customer Service:
6. Participate in approved networking activities.
