About the Role
Self-motivated individual with experience managing customer-facing projects in the dynamic world of transportation management. The ideal candidate will work with clients and team members to ensure alignment on the project schedule and that deliverables are completed on time and meet the customer’s expectations. They will work with the team to develop various status reports and escalate risks as appropriate.
What the Candidate Will Do:
- Facilitate meetings (external (customer-facing), and internal) using our best practices
- Lead the process of issue identification and resolution
- Ensure expectations around deliverables are mutually understood
- Monitor and manage project scope
- Hold team members accountable for providing deliverables on time and within budget
- Keep project artifacts updated
- Develop and maintain milestone chart
- Develop and maintain a full project schedule in Workfront
- Periodically develop reports of project financials for Uber Freight Executives
- Develop project status reports and review with the internal team and customer
- Use collaboration tool for weekly project status updates and all project document storage
Customer Management:
- Foster trust/spirit of partnership with customers/stakeholders/partners.
- Coach co-workers (all levels) to ensure the team collectively delivers project objectives.
- Raise visibility to risks so they can be mitigated appropriately.
Basic Qualifications
- 6 years of work-related experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Licencjat completed education
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-8 years of Project Management experience.
- PMP Certification
- Excellent communication skills with external customers and stakeholders
- Customer-focused mindset
- Knowledge and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
- Understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
- Advanced functions of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel 10-25%
- Transportation and logistics industry experience
