We are searching for a talented Vascular Sonographer

Hours: 32hrs  

Shift:  Day shift; 7:30am - 4:00pm, 8:00am - 4:30pm or 7:30am - 5:00pm

Location: Cardiology – Dartmouth, MA

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Manager, qualified physician or designee, the vascular sonographer will perform a variety of technical procedures that involves the application of high frequency ultrasound waves to patients for diagnostic purpose, will exercise a high degree of precision, skill and judgment, and will demonstrate sound knowledge of vascular anatomy, and physiology, Doppler physics/instrumentation, ultrasound physics and instrumentation. The sonographer is expected to have or pursue the appropriate certifications in vascular technology. Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Vascular Technology Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) is required. Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable. 
• A registered Technologist/Sonographer is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience is required.
• Current RDMS, RVS, RT(S), or registry eligible is required.
• Registration within one year is required.
• CPR certification is also required.

• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

Pay Range

USD $38.89 - USD $60.60 /Hr.
