  • We are looking for a Logistics Dispatcher to join our team. The role will be based in New York and reporting to our Director of Logistics. The primary focus will be leading and developing strategic initiatives to increase our consignment via our logistics . You will collaborate cross functionally with the Operations, Account Managers and the Customer Relations teams, Retail as well as with the Consignment Managers to meet our goals of increased efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction
  • You will maintain the company safety culture to include daily safety messages, monthly driver briefings, and help enforce company policies to ensure DOT compliance and company requirements are being met
  • You will dispatch and plan drivers for daily operations
  • You will be responsible for professional, timely, and effective internal and external driver interaction via phone calls and system messages, by building and maintaining a positive attitude to strengthen driver engagement in order to minimize turnover and improve driver satisfaction and productivity
  • You will track and trace shipments for on-time performance, and communicate updated status to customer
  • You will ensure all customer requests are processed and received, including orders and pickup requests
  • You will enter data using company dispatch software for accuracy
  • You will manage FedEx, UPS and DHL outbound shipping needs through FF and directly with carriers as needed
  • You will manage outbound domestic trucking and export shipments as needed
  • You will manage relationships with third party delivery service providers
  • You will support special projects as assigned by manager
