Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • EpicCare Ambulatory and Kaleidoscope Certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare or healthcare-related organization
  • Previous operational, project management, and organizational skills preferred
  • Familiarity with physician practices' workflows, hospital outpatient departments and patient experiences preferred
  • Familiarity with ophthalmology physician practices' workflows preferred
  • Understanding of a wide array of integration points, including scheduling, lab, radiology, billing, imaging, and inpatient clinical preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others
  • Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities
  • Assists with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application
  • Aids with all phases of testing and document workflow design
  • Performs basic analysis of new releases and determine how they will impact workflow
  • Helps with identifying issues and the work to resolve them
  • Assists with providing day-to-day application support, evaluating and resolving service tickets, implementing requested application changes, and retrieving requested data in a timely manner
  • Collaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies
  • Participates in on-call rotations and support
  • Maintains regular communication with team members and participates in weekly project team meetings
  • Reviews the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership
  • Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets
  • Travel to the job site during go-lives, conferences, rounding, and/or senior leadership meetings
  • Providing oversight and leadership to Associate Epic Analysts on the team
  • Implementing, building, and modifying the application
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application's configuration, function, and access
  • Providing day-to-day application support and resolving application issues
  • Serve as a support contact for application end‐users
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain the application
  • Support all phases of testing and document workflow design
  • Perform analysis of new releases and determine how they will impact workflow
  • Identify issues and work to resolve them
