About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Sales for our Flex Pay product within the retail space. This person will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our footprint in the BNPL space for retail. This leader will be instrumental in developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, leading a high-performing team, building strong relationships with retail partners and Payment Service Providers (PSP).
This role has flexibility to be based anywhere in the United States.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a data-driven sales strategy aligned with company goals to drive revenue growth and market penetration, while streamlining sales processes
- Team Management: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Business Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with merchants, retailers, and other stakeholders to expand adoption of BNPL solutions.
- Market Expansion in Retail and PSP: Drive market penetration in Retail and secure strategic partnerships with PSPs and eCommerce platforms.
- Revenue Accountability: Own sales targets, pipeline management, and forecasting, ensuring consistent achievement of KPIs and revenue goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to align on go-to-market strategies and customer success initiatives.
- Customer Insights: Leverage customer feedback and market insights to refine sales approaches and inform product development.
What We Look For:
- 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience within BNPL or payments space
- Expertise: Deep understanding of the BNPL landscape, payment technologies, and retail ecosystems.
- Proven Success: Track record of leading effective sales teams and achieving ambitious revenue targets in a fast-paced, competitive market.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to inspire, motivate, and lead diverse teams toward common goals.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in leveraging data analytics and CRM tools to drive decisions and optimize sales performance.
- Relationship Builder: Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a knack for forging long-lasting relationships.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
