What you’ll do:
- Respond to requests from labels for artist audience profiles leveraging our in-house data sources.
- Create presentations and trend reports to help convey findings and recommendations to the business.
- Support with the management and analysis of tasks on our youth culture audience panel.
- Use social media analytics tools to illustrate how to engage our artists audiences across short form video and social media platforms.
- Keep abreast of wider social media, short form video and streaming trends.
- Be accountable for the delivery, maintenance, and development of several weekly reports.
- Manage the team’s reports and outputs, uploading them to our online portal.
- Support the team with a wide variety of ad hoc projects and label workshops.
- Work collaboratively with the wider 4th Floor Creative teams.
- Opportunity to learn SQL, Tableau and Alteryx as well as the various primary research approaches.
Who you are:
- This role would be a great opportunity for anyone looking to rapidly develop their research, insight, analysis and storytelling skills in a stimulating, fast paced and always-changing industry.
- Prior experience of manipulating basic data in Excel and PowerPoint is essential as this will be a major area of support required.
- You may have had experience of using statistical package such as SPSS, SAS, eViews.
- Detail orientated – findings need to be precise and accurately reflect the data.
- Problem solving mentality and an inquiring, diagnostic mind – not all our questions come with ready-made solutions, so you need to be able to think problems through.
- Great communicator – you will need to be able to clearly communicate findings to colleagues.
- Personable, with a passion for understanding people and music, culture (“high” and “low”) and the dynamics of social media and the online landscape.
- Good understanding of the music streaming landscape, music economics and emerging social media platforms.
- Good organisation and prioritisation skills – we are fast-paced business.
- A keen eye for design and presentation.
