Requirements
  • Significant experience in hotel maintenance or technical building operations.
  • At least 5 years in a technical director position and 10 years of maintenance experience.
  • Current electrical certifications or authorizations.
  • Knowledge of French ERP regulations and safety requirements.
  • Proficiency with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, main low-voltage switchboards, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, water treatment, and hotel technical equipment.
  • Proficiency with office tools including Excel, Word, and technical tracking tools.
  • Ability to lead and unite a team, make decisions, organize work rigorously, analyze situations, manage priorities, and interact effectively with teams, management, owners, service providers, and authorities.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure the proper operation of the hotel's and spa's technical installations, including electricity, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing, water treatment, emergency systems, building management systems, and main low-voltage switchboards.
  • Organize and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Control the quality of internal and external interventions.
  • Guarantee operational continuity of a high-end establishment serving demanding guests.
  • Participate in planning renovation work and infrastructure improvements.
  • Optimize energy consumption and implement sustainable-performance initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with ERP standards, fire safety, hygiene, and corporate social responsibility requirements.
  • Keep the safety register up to date.
  • Monitor inspection bodies, regulatory checks, and safety commissions.
  • Deploy emergency procedures and evacuation plans.
  • Organize safety and fire-safety training for all employees.
  • Supervise, lead, and develop the three-person technical team.
  • Set the department's daily priorities and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the accommodation, food and beverage, spa, and management teams.
  • Participate actively in operational meetings and cross-functional hotel projects.
  • Anticipate technical incidents that could affect the guest experience.
  • Implement rapid and lasting corrective actions.
  • Propose improvements to guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in upscale hospitality, spas, thalassotherapy, or complex ERP environments.
  • Professional English.
