The Role: Product Owner (Grade 11)
The Team: The Customer Experience Product team works closely with Client Services, Sales, Operations, and users across the organization. The team acts as a bridge between internal users and Technology to ensure that requirements are captured, prioritized, executed and delivered to a high quality.
The Impact: Successful candidates will have a strong understanding of the S&P Global Commodity Insight business and its data. They will aim to deliver a world-class user experience, enhance operational efficiency, and foster innovation. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in designing and building pricing or content delivery platforms. Additionally, they should excel in teamwork, demonstrate high self-motivation, and have the ability to work independently to achieve results.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Product Owner for multiple high-profile, high-impact initiatives within Commodity Insight.
- Proactively identify opportunities to gather and analyze user and data requirements.
- Collaborate with users to understand, refine, and deliver systems that effectively meet their needs.
- Engage with the broader Product team to leverage technology and ensure alignment across initiatives.
- Work closely with Change Management to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product rollouts and launches.
- Partner with project sponsors, internal customers, Technology, and Finance to secure project approvals, define scope, manage budgets, and report on the health status of the project lifecycle.
- Continuously monitor industry trends and user feedback to inform product enhancements and innovations.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment among stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience working as a Product Owner or super user, with a solid understanding of agile methodology.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with an innate curiosity and a desire to challenge the status quo.
- Proficiency in translating business requests into clear technical requirements.
- Capability to present effectively to both business and technical audiences, demonstrating sufficient subject matter expertise.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously, particularly under tight deadlines.
