Requirements
  • Graduate in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • A Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of procurement and sourcing experience or equivalent
  • Experience working with Indigenous groups, including ability to build positive relationships with Indigenous communities and businesses
  • Experience planning and leading procurement processes, including drafting procurement strategies and contracting documents, leading evaluations and negotiations, and managing supplier relationships
  • Strong knowledge of public sector sourcing, contract and competitive bid laws, and supply chain policies, procedures and best practices
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in complex business environments, with multiple stakeholders and strategic considerations. Sound judgment, strategic and pragmatic thinking, and a growth mindset. Able to make decisions taking into consideration a diversity of perspectives. Plans ahead, anticipates problems, facilitates solutions, and looks for ways to make process improvements
  • Experience communicating effectively to a wide range of audiences, both in writing and verbally. Ability to prepare and deliver engaging PowerPoint presentations, and to adapt communication style to meet audience needs
  • Strong understanding of common barriers for Indigenous businesses and unconscious bias
  • Thorough understanding of, and demonstrated ability of working with, First Nations, Inuit and Métis populations and understanding of the diverse needs and expectations of working with each group
  • Outstanding public/promotional/persuasive speaking and presentation skills including presentations to large and small audiences
  • Must exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to build strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
  • Motivated, ambitious, and a results-driven go-getter
  • Excellent MS Office skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, including the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities
  • As subject matter expert in procurement and supply chain diversification, provides leadership, guidance and strategic advice on Indigenous procurement
  • Enhances awareness and understanding of Indigenous procurement initiatives and targets at all levels within the organization
  • Participates in identification, development and roll out of business process improvements to enhance the operational efficiency of Indigenous procurement
  • Works collaboratively with business groups to identify Indigenous procurement opportunities, recommends procurement models and appropriate sourcing methods, and supports the development and implementation of Indigenous procurement strategies
  • Participates in project planning and needs assessment for Indigenous procurement targets and commitments
  • Reports regularly on the status of Indigenous procurement initiatives, troubleshoots and escalates any issues that may negatively impact the success of the procurement process, along with recommendations for resolution
  • Coordinates Indigenous Engagement Supply Chain meetings, responds to Indigenous Procurement queries, and manages Indigenous procurement records and reporting requirements
  • Facilitates outreach to Indigenous communities and businesses to support business development
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with key stakeholders (procurement, project teams, Indigenous engagement)
  • Provides detailed consultation, leadership, guidance and strategic advice on Indigenous procurement and relationship building with Indigenous communities
  • Lead outreach to Indigenous businesses; lead identification of Indigenous businesses whose capabilities support our procurement needs
  • Lead internal marketing campaign to spotlight Indigenous businesses to the wider company
  • Collaborate with procurement team to ensure inclusion of Indigenous businesses in Supplier database
  • Draft scopes of work for Indigenous Engagement needs, and coordinate with procurement team for RFP/PO phases

AtkinsRéalis Group reported record 2025 results, with revenue rising 13% and backlog reaching a record $21.20 billion. The company completed the sale of its remaining Highway 407 interest for $2.60 billion and secured an investment-grade credit rating, enhancing financial flexibility for growth in engineering and nuclear services. Management maintained 2026 guidance for 5-7% organic revenue growth in engineering services and projected $2.50 billion in nuclear revenue. AtkinsRéalis Group, a world-class engineering services and nuclear company, reported fourth-quarter revenue of $2.9 billion, up 13% year-over-year, with full-year revenue reaching $11.0 billion, up 14%. AtkinsRéalis Services revenue increased 17% in Q4 and 16% for the full year. The company achieved diluted earnings per share from Professional Services & Project Management of $2.14 for 2025, up 80%, whilst adjusted diluted EPS reached $3.36, up 88%. Full-year operating cash flow totalled $461 million, and backlog reached a record $21.2 billion as at 31 December 2025. For 2026, AtkinsRéalis expects Engineering Services Regions organic revenue growth of 5-7% and Nuclear revenue of approximately $2.5 billion. Operating cash flow is projected at roughly $500 million.

Ferrovial Buys 5.06% 407 ETR Stake

Ferrovial is set to increase its stake in 407 ETR to 48.29% by acquiring up to 5.06% from AtkinsRéalis for [CAD]2.09 billion. The deal includes a 3.30% acquisition at closing and a 1.76% deferred stake via a put and call option.
