Requirements
  • Must be eligible for and maintain required privileging within the Military Treatment Facility.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination in accordance with applicable contract and government requirements.
  • An associate's degree in education, teacher certification, social behavior, human behavior, health care, or a related field is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • At least one year of experience working in a setting providing domestic abuse, child maltreatment, or mental health treatment is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable databases and software programs is required.
  • Experience developing educational curricula with defined learning objectives and outcomes is required.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods is required.
  • Ability to support meetings, presentations, training, and community activities as required is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative, technical, and prevention support to the Family Advocacy Program.
  • Support Family Advocacy Program maltreatment intervention, New Parent Support Program, and secondary prevention activities.
  • Maintain automated data collection systems, including FAPNet, and ensure timely data entry.
  • Maintain and manage program computer resources and applicable software systems.
  • Compile statistical information and assist with patient satisfaction, recidivism, and clinical outcome measures.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, agendas, contact notes, notification letters, and other written communications as directed.
  • Assist with administration, processing, and scoring of data collection and measurement instruments.
  • Support prevention personnel with educational presentations, briefings, community activities, and other approved prevention initiatives.
  • Assist with development and implementation of educational curricula containing defined learning objectives and outcomes.
  • Coordinate with Family Advocacy Program staff to support New Parent Support Program and other prevention activities.
  • In the absence of a Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist, provide orientation and annual training to Squadron Commanders and First Sergeants as directed by the Family Advocacy Program Manager.
  • Maintain accurate administrative and program documentation in accordance with applicable Family Advocacy Program standards.
