Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Candidates must have a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and reliable and prompt attendance.
  • Candidates must be capable of working in and being exposed to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.
  • Candidates must remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience.
  • Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers the company's guest experience commitments and consistent operations.
  • Observe team performance and provide feedback, hold team members accountable, and recognize positive guest experience moments.
  • Review guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve performance, align the team on behaviors and execution, celebrate wins, and drive results.
  • Lead a team of Guest Advocates, Service Advocates, and Front of Store Attendants to exceed guest service expectations.
  • Lead and demonstrate best-practice execution through team onboarding and learning, and close skill gaps through development, coaching, and team interactions.
  • Understand sales goals, business reporting, and guest insights to plan and execute daily and weekly workload and deliver store sales and guest engagement goals.
  • Support Target loyalty programs by ensuring the team educates guests about benefits, features, and offerings.
  • Follow up on training completion, check for understanding, and support continuous education opportunities for front-of-store experiences.
  • Conduct meaningful development conversations throughout team members' career paths.
  • Personalize recognition and appreciation of the team to reinforce guest service behaviors and promote a positive team- and guest-centric culture.
  • Help lead a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management on Service and Engagement behaviors.
  • Respond to concerns with guests' shopping experiences by de-escalating situations and ensuring the team resolves or addresses guest concerns and issues.
  • Ensure team members stay up to date on major promotions, brand launches, and events.
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team as directed by the direct leader.
  • Support and enable team members to deliver pickup and Drive-Up orders, including Drive-Up returns and Starbucks, efficiently and accurately while following applicable federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct and compliance and hold the team accountable to these standards.
  • Lead a safety culture by modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, identifying and correcting hazards, holding the team accountable to safety expectations, assisting with incident response, and reporting and investigating injuries accurately and promptly.
  • Model physical security processes to enhance the in-store security culture.
  • Support merchandise protection strategies across the store, including ordering, storage, and application.
  • Follow safe and secure training and processes when acting as a key carrier.
  • Occasionally assume store-level Leader on Duty responsibilities during assigned shifts based on store needs.
  • Address store emergency and compliance needs.

  • Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
