  • A proven Track record on developing high quality product software on schedule
  • Experience with application servers (WebSphere Application Server and WebLogic)
  • Experience with operating systems, networking, and firewall concepts
  • Experience with security (SSL, data encryption, system user accounts, directory servers)
  • Experience with web protocols including HTTP, SMTP and LDAP
  • Knowledge of administration of database and web server components
  • Experience with Maximo integration technologies (MIF, MEA, Object structures, services, channels, etc.)
  • Experience working with Maximo, SCCD, deployed Self-Service Portal
  • Experience working on multiple project and multi-tasking
  • Experience with BIRT, Business Intelligence Reporting
  • Experience in Maximo integration with other application
  • Experience with Python/Jython for Autoscript creation
  • Work with users to migrate and/or import data.
  • Manage and create user accounts and security groups.
  • Create and update existing workflows as business requirements change.
  • Perform updates within the various Maximo administrative modules to include Application Designer, Escalations, Comm Templates, etc.
  • Strong presentation skills, excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and strong leadership qualities are essential for this role.
  • Develop complex SQL queries to respond to internal and external data requests and data integration requirements
  • Expert knowledge with Maximo 7.6.X
  • Preference given to candidates with experience with MAS8
  • Bachelors degree in an IT related field strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
  • At least eight (8) or more years’ experience in IBM Maximo Asset Management applications development is required.
Responsibilities
  • The Sr. Maximo developer is responsible for the development, enhancement, effective deployment and support of the Maximo application.
  • This position will interface with key stakeholders and conduct development activities in accordance with the software development lifecycle and defined change control and compliance procedures.
  • This role will lead team of 3-4 Maximo developers, establishing team policy and procedure, suggest and implement actions to improve quality and processes, and develop and mentor the skill sets of the Maximo team.
  • This position will research system problems, coordinate vendor support, perform upgrades and integration with other applications, provide support for the expansion of Maximo program capabilities, conduct report development using tools bundled with the Maximo application, support for issues related to the Maximo application and supporting products (WebSphere, Open source BIRT) , review requirements and functional designs, develop and implement complex solutions using internal and external application tools ( ex. workflows, escalations, database configuration).
