Frontend Software Engineer Intern

This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in August/September 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following fall internship start dates below: Monday, August 11 Monday, August 25 Monday, September 8 Monday, September 22 We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Responsibilities: This internship provides students the opportunity to: - Develop efficient and highly reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications for e-commerce products. - Code optimization to improve scalability, reliability, security and performance of web applications. - Collaborate with product design, product management and software engineering teams to deliver best in class user experience. Minimum Qualifications - Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline - Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Fall 2025 - Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment. - General familiarity and interest in frontend development, including: Languages: JavaScript/Typescript/HTML/CSS Frontend frameworks: React/Vue/Angular Packaging frameworks: Webpack/Rollup/BaBel/AST/Gulp - Familiar with key concepts like functional and asynchronous programming, closures and types, layouts, specificity, animation, cross browser compatibility, data security and accessibility. - General understanding of multi-tier application architecture and protocols, familiarity with product and software development lifecycle process. Preferred Qualifications: - Graduating December 2025 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship. - Agile, quick self learner, highly self-motivated with strong sense of product ownership and creative problem solver. - Deeply passionate about software coding/development and building great mobile/web applications. - Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast moving, culturally diverse and globally distributed team environment.
