Requirements
  • 7+ years experience of leading GTM motions, building out the marketing function from 0-1, and leading integrated marketing campaigns including all aspects of content creation, preferably at a startup
  • Comfort working across a variety of marketing channels including web, email, social, industry conferences, experiential and grassroots
  • Experience in brand marketing, growth marketing, channel marketing, product marketing, and leading the strategy and execution behind those efforts at a startup company
  • Passion for and experience in climate, environment, energy, IoT, smart cities, govtech, SaaS and/or public health fields
  • Experience with scaling B2B and/or B2G marketing by finding efficiencies and working with strategic internal and external partners
  • Strong relationship-building skills; ability to collaborate and work with a variety of people across disciplines and geographies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize among competing demands
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient knowledge of HubSpot; Google Suite; Slack; Asana; Google Analytics; graphic design and video editing software preferred
Responsibilities
  • Own the strategy of how to take Aclima's brand and products to market, and the strategic thinking and execution planning behind all market-facing activities
  • Be both the marketing leader and the do-er at Aclima, responsible for the marketing function, and building out the marketing team
  • Partner closely with Communications, Product Design, Product Management, Sales, Business Development, Science, Engineering, and Executive Leadership teams to develop effective marketing campaigns, with content and collateral that support both business growth and public benefit objectives
  • Create multimedia assets for campaigns, partnerships, community engagement, product launches, email marketing, and events
  • Establish and foster brand consistency; ensure that company materials reflect Aclima's brand and personality
  • Manage videography, photography, layout, look & feel and art across channels including web, email, social, blog, events, and paid advertising
  • Lead Aclima's digital marketing strategy to strengthen the brand's digital reach and engagement on social media and the brand site
  • Oversee the marketing promotion campaign calendar, to ensure deliverables are achieved on-time and accurately
  • Stay current on industry trends, conduct market research, and analyze user feedback to recommend innovative customer, prospect, partner and community experiences
