CryptEscrow crypto-to-cash service now available to First American Title agents after $4.2M home sale

CryptEscrow has announced its cryptocurrency-to-cash conversion service is now available as an option to policy-issuing agents of First American Title Insurance Company. The service allows agents and their clients to independently evaluate cryptocurrency conversion for real estate purchases. The platform converts digital assets to US dollars before settlement, enabling transactions to proceed through traditional escrow processes. Earlier this year, one First American Title policy-issuing agent closed a $4.2 million residential purchase using CryptEscrow's conversion process. Policy-issuing agents can access CryptEscrow through Discownts.com to evaluate whether cryptocurrency-to-cash settlement is compliant for specific transactions. First American Title does not accept, transmit or custody cryptocurrency directly. The service aims to help cryptocurrency holders participate in the housing market by providing infrastructure to convert digital assets into funds acceptable for real estate closings.

CryptEscrow and First American Title partner to scale crypto-backed real estate transactions.

CryptEscrow and First American Title partner to scale crypto-backed real estate transactions. Quick summary. CryptEscrow has partnered with First American Title to enable crypto-backed real estate transactions through a compliant crypto-to-cash settlement process. This collaboration allows buyers to use digital assets for property purchases while ensuring title agents maintain traditional closing workflows and insurance protections across the United States. How does CryptEscrow solve crypto real estate settlement? CryptEscrow provides the critical infrastructure needed to bridge the digital asset economy with traditional fiat real estate markets. By offering a fully licensed and insured conversion layer, the platform allows buyers to liquidate cryptocurrency into U.S. dollars specifically for residential and commercial closings. This eliminates the need for multiple unverified intermediaries and reduces the complexity that previously hindered crypto-backed real estate deals. * Compliant pathway for crypto-to-cash conversion. * Seamless integration with existing First American Title escrow processes. * Exclusive pricing benefits for agents using the AgentNet(R) platform. The solution is designed to make digital asset transactions feel identical to traditional cash closings for all parties involved, ensuring that regulatory compliance and security remain at the forefront of the settlement process. What results has this partnership delivered? The collaboration has already proven its viability through a $4.2 million residential home purchase, which served as the pilot for this crypto-backed real estate framework. This successful closing demonstrated that high-value transactions can be executed with minimal impact on traditional workflows. The partnership addresses a massive market shift, as 67 million Americans now own digital assets, and crypto-funded home purchases have surged by 35% year-over-year. * 12.7% of Gen Z and Millennial buyers use crypto for down payments. * 19,000 employees at First American now have access to this tech. * Millions of transactions annually can now potentially include crypto settlement. By providing trusted infrastructure, First American and CryptEscrow are capturing a growing segment of Gen Z and Millennial buyers who increasingly rely on digital wealth for significant life purchases. "Digital assets have created an entirely new class of buyers, and the real estate industry needs practical infrastructure that helps them participate in the housing market," said John Ioannou, Founder of CryptEscrow. "Our partnership with First American gives title agents and their customers a secure, compliant solution that makes crypto-backed purchases feel like any other real estate transaction. Buyers can confidently move from crypto into U.S. dollars, while agents gain another way to help clients reach the closing table." Ff news take: This partnership is a significant milestone for crypto-backed real estate because it brings a Tier-1 institutional player, First American Title, into the fold. By legitimizing digital assets as a source of funds for title insurance underwriters, the industry is moving past the "niche" phase of crypto property deals. This move effectively removes the friction for title agents, likely triggering a domino effect among other major insurers to adopt similar compliant settlement solutions. Featured speakers.
