Responsibilities
  • Participate in portfolio management activities for large, sophisticated family office and endowment clients, including managing liquidity needs and analyzing equity, fixed income, and opportunistic alternative investments as appropriate.
  • Become deeply versed in client portfolio investments, including hedge funds and private equity, and provide research insights to clients as needed.
  • Analyze complex financial information and ensure that portfolio managers have adequate information to perform daily portfolio management duties, with a strong focus on various information systems.
  • Work directly with the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Investment Solutions to support the portfolio construction process, including designing search mandates, recommending optimal manager weightings, and evaluating risk exposures.
  • Oversee development of materials for clients and other investment review committees for managers and strategies in the assigned coverage area.
  • Perform detailed analyses of existing and prospective client investment portfolios and create client-specific materials and reports.
  • Assist in managing all aspects of client relationships, including trading, reporting, communication, and coordination with Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Analysts, the Investment Solutions Group Research Team, and Messaging.
  • Attend all Investment Solutions Group manager research and asset allocation meetings and develop strong knowledge of the investment process and platform.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis of investment managers and asset allocation topics.
  • Establish strong working relationships with team members in the New York office and throughout the organization.
Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience within the finance industry is preferred.
  • An MBA or progress towards the Chartered Financial Analyst designation is desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bloomberg, FactSet, Charles River, and APX is a plus.

Brown Advisory Brown Advisory has appointed Lisi Bailliere Dean as head of its San Francisco office. A partner and portfolio manager in the firm's private client, endowments and foundations business, Dean will continue advising clients. The office is located in the Presidio area of the city, and a hub for work with individuals, families, foundations, endowments and institutional investors across California. Brown Advisory, operating as a private and independent firm since 1988, was responsible for about $188.4 billion of client money as of June 30 this year. It has more than 1,000 personnel and operates 20 offices worldwide. Prior to joining Brown Advisory, Dean was a senior vice president and private wealth advisor at Capital Group Private Client Services; previously he held institutional equity sales positions at Merrill Lynch and Alex Brown. Dean holds a BA from Harvard University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Raymond James, Ameriprise Financial A team including three advisors, based in New Jersey, has joined the independent advisor channel of Raymond James. Operating as Seven Arrows Wealth in Parsippany, New Jersey, the team previously managed $250 million in client assets at Ameriprise Financial Services. The team is led by managing partners Ben Burklow, Morgan Burklow and Rick Vanderpool. They are joined by client concierge Judith Nixon, practice business coordinator Frieda Stamoutsos-Stamidou and client service manager Ryan Del Grande.

Brown Advisory Brown Advisory has appointed former Hillview Capital Advisors partner Danielle Barrett as the head of its New York office. Barrett is a client advisor and partner at the firm. The firm will soon be relocating to 520 Madison Avenue, creating additional space for its staff and clients. Some 83 members of the team are based in the city. Earlier in her career, Barrett was an assistant portfolio manager at Davy Stockbrokers Ireland. She holds a BBS and an MSc from Trinity College Dublin, is a Trust and Estate Practitioner, and is active in the New York community through the Estate Planning Council of New York City, STEP NY and the Scarsdale Public Library. As of May 31, 2026, the firm was responsible for approximately $188.9 billion in assets for private and institutional clients and charities. It operates in 20 nations. LPL Financial, NorthStar Wealth Advisors LPL Financial has announced that financial advisor Ronald White has launched a new independent practice, NorthStar Wealth Advisors, with support from Good Life Companies, an LPL Financial-affiliated firm. The team, which reported serving about $160 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets, has joined from Raymond James. The business is based in El Paso, Texas. White is joined by wealth advisor Scott Draime. Draime also brings approximately 30 years of industry experience, working with private wealth clients and families on retirement planning and relationship-driven financial guidance.
