Requirements
  • Education: An Associate’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Technical, or related field preferred; would consider a combination of coursework and experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing and Quality Inspection position required; automotive experience preferred.
  • Certification(s): ASQ Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent certification preferred; or will get certification within 2 years of accepting position. Six Sigma, Green belt or Black Belt preferred.
  • Functional Skills: Strong math, algebra, and statistical skills required; strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to problem-solve and make solid judgments required. Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and create results. Ability to read and interpret blueprints is required.
  • Technology Aptitude/Skills: Solid Microsoft Office Skillset; ability to learn and use in-house ERP and software systems.
  • Language Skills: Solid verbal and written communication skills; will present to others.

Responsibilities
  • Understands the Automotive Advanced Planning Quality Process (APQP) to lead the auditing of new or existing suppliers to ensure their Quality System processes and product specifications are aligned to the Company’s standards.
  • Oversees any quality or delivery issue with suppliers, setting up action plans and validation programs, to bring obstacles to resolution.
  • Reports supplier ratings, and related corrective actions (where applicable), to the leadership group monthly and quarterly to understand the Quality status of suppliers, as well as preferred suppliers for purchasing.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to understand material needs and coordinates those needs with suppliers to ensure the specifications of the materials are understood and product is received within compliance.
  • Reviews material test data on product standards to validate and ensure materials are in line with company Quality System standards.

MILFORD, Indiana, U.S.A. - Erik Schneider has been named LeMar Plant Operations Director for Brock Grain Systems according to Will Mabee Vice President and General Manager for the CTB, Inc. business unit. In his new role, Schneider will lead engineering, design, operations, and facility management. Additionally, he will be responsible for mentoring and developing talent and working with the management team and human resources to recruit new personnel. Schneider joins CTB with twenty years of experience in manufacturing including supply chain and operations roles with major equipment manufacturers. Some of his key experiences include improving plant quality, employee satisfaction and retention, as well as long-range and strategic manufacturing planning. A graduate of Iowa State University, Schneider earned a bachelor's degree in Agriculture Studies and an MBA in Supply Chain Management and Operations Management. Jamie Trentz named LeMar Structural Engineer for Brock Grain Systems. Jamie Trentz has been named LeMar Structural Engineer for Brock Grain Systems, according to Christian Wing, LeMar Engineering Manager for the CTB, Inc. business unit. In his new role, Trentz will structurally model LeMar products, applying loading cases and performing calculations.
