The Director of Clinical Operations provides leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of our interdisciplinary MUSC Weight Management Program. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless patient navigation, effective operations, research collaboration, and innovative program development within our new cross Integrated Centers of Clinical Excellence (ICCE). The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in Weight Management clinical operations, a passion for patient-centered care and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful weight loss programs.

Job Description
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily operations of the MUSC Weight Management Program, ensuring high standards of care and efficiency.
- Manage programs and clinical operations for weight management patients to ensure high quality standard of care.
- Coordinate with various ICCE to establish streamline processes and enhance interdisciplinary collaboration across the system
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across the program.
- Manage operations to ensure alignment of operational goals with overall organizational objectives
- Stay informed about industry trends, weight loss research, best practices, and advancements of weight management and clinical weight loss services
Additional Job Description
Education Required:
Minimum requirement Master’s degree and seven to ten (7-10) years of progressive work experience in Clinical Services Leadership, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health or related field. Relevant certifications or degree (i.e. Registered Dietitian, Clinical degree or related clinical credentials.
Certification preferred:
Registered Dietitian, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics: Certification Adult weight Management, CDR Board Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management, Clinical certification or equivalent.
