Requirements
  • Led the deployment of large complex distributed systems with complex security requirements encountered when deploying on Government networks and Government provided Cloud Services
  • Directed the development and security accreditation of large distributed systems, operating across multiple government networks and security classifications
  • Experience with active management of technical risks
  • Created briefings and demonstrations for Senior-level stakeholders
  • Experience with cloud-native systems built on AWS primarily or alternatively Azure
  • Experience with big data technologies to include Hadoop, Accumulo, Elasticsearch, MongoDB and Cloudera EDH
  • Experience with containerized applications using microservice architectures
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Atlassian products
  • Experience support growth initiatives including demonstrations and formal captures
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing technical leadership across a line of business which includes multiple related products being delivered to US and International customers
  • Provides technical oversight to strategic programs to ensure consistent delivery of RII's value proposition, healthy program growth, and expansion into adjacent opportunities
  • Responsible for identifying technical risks, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies
  • Responsible for mentoring a team of globally dispersed technical and development experts to ensure an integrated international enterprise development effort
  • Responsible for engaging current and potential customers, providing technical demonstrations, and designing new solutions to address emerging needs
  • Leads customer engagements to discuss and understand their needs to include their mission, objectives, users, business processes, use cases, and capability gaps - ultimately identifying what they need to achieve and how to best help them succeed
  • Responsible for understanding what program success means and aligns the program, RII's, and the end users interests
  • Supports the coordination or company wide technology and pilot development
  • Works with other RII technical leaders and teams to create prototypes, demonstrations, and general solutioning to excite customers and close deals
  • Responsible for establishing a clear set of requirements (technical, programmatic, deliverables, milestones, etc.) during the pursuit/capture process to provide a basis of common understanding between RII and the customer and between the capture team and the executing organization
  • Responsible for leading overall technical approach and content development on business development activities, including draft SOWs, ROMs, technical proposal content, and cost proposal inputs
