Defense Microelectronics Strategist
Key Role:
Help define the strategy for next generation US government and defense microelectronics technologies. Leverage knowledge of current and future defense system needs related to advanced microelectronics technologies. Identify promising industry partners and technologies and collaborate to define technical and business strategies for engagement and usage of their capabilities for defense missions.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with supporting defense community stakeholders in microelectronics technologies, program strategy, and utilization of microelectronics devices
Experience with semiconductor fabrication technologies, semiconductor processes, trusted and state of the art processes, or respective vendors
Knowledge of defense and government microelectronics needs and requirements, trends of microelectronics device usage within the community, and multiple stakeholder roles, responsibilities, and objectives within the microelectronics domain
Ability to perform technical assessment of current and future microelectronics technologies, develop technology trends and reports, and make key recommendations to the client
Ability to craft effective and functional strategies for microelectronics access that meet the needs of multiple agencies and stakeholders
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with providing technical support to senior DoD program managers on high risk, high reward projects within the microelectronics domain
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree in EE, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred; Doctorate degree in EE, Computer Engineering, or a related field a plus
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
