Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in health science or related field
  • 2 years of health-related experience
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Experience protecting confidentiality and privacy of data
  • Research and data interpretation experience
  • Familiarity with quality care standards
Responsibilities
  • Participate in ongoing training from CDC Foundation
  • Ensure all required site visits are completed in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with other Quality Assurance Specialists to ensure all sites throughout West Virginia are audited
  • Perform site visits to include looking at patient charts, refrigerator and freezer, certificates of calibration, review paperwork, answer questions, and training
  • Ensure audits comply with policies and procedures regarding confidential information and data security
  • Understand public and behavioral health data
  • Foster partnerships
  • Travel 50-60 miles per day in a personal vehicle
