Requirements
  • Graduate with a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Currently licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the therapist practices.
  • Have at least one year of experience as a Licensed Occupational Therapist in a supervised setting within the past three years.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, assess, and implement therapy needs as appropriate, including developing Plan of Care treatments and goals.
  • Work with clients and clients’ family members to achieve maximum physical recovery.
  • Identify and secure necessary support personnel, supplies, and equipment.
  • Perform client visits as directed in the Plan of Care.
  • Instruct and supervise clients and other health care personnel, including Occupational Therapy Assistants.
