Requirements
  • Student working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field for entire duration of internship.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Ability to learn new programs quickly in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize while working on numerous projects and tasks.
  • Ability to work 20+ hours per week during the school year and full-time during summer & breaks.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with recruiting activities for manufacturing and office positions including pre-screening candidates, scheduling, and conducting interviews, coordinating pre-employment activities such as background checks and drug screening, etc.
  • Assist with recruiting events including organizing, preparing, and participating in job fairs and campus recruiting as needed.
  • Assist in company training, such as New Employee Orientation, Harassment Prevention, Ethics, Diversity Awareness, and other Human Resources related training.
  • Assist with maintenance of confidential employee & applicant information utilizing various HRIS systems such as EnterpriseOne (PeopleSoft), TAMS (SuccessFactors), etc.
  • Support the Affirmative Action Plan maintenance activities and audits as needed.
  • Assist with various employee events including organizing, preparing, and participating in Employee Roundtables, Service Award Luncheons, etc.
  • Perform research and assistance for various Human Resources and Benefits related projects as needed.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned.
